Most installers disappear after the cameras go up. We're still watching in year three.

NoDex Integrations installs and manages commercial security camera systems across Northern Virginia — one price to put them in, one price to make sure they keep running.

The problem

A camera doesn't announce when it fails

It just stops.

No alert. No error message on a screen anyone checks. It sits there, powered on, recording nothing.

Until the day you actually need the footage — and it isn't there. That's the day someone finds out the system's been dead for months.

How it works

Install, manage, respond

The install is the easy part. What happens after is the job.

install

We walk the site and place cameras for real coverage, not just corners with a lens pointed at them. Cable runs done clean, PoE switches sized right, and an NVR set up to actually hold the footage window you need.

manage

Every camera reports its own status. If one drops offline, we know before you do — often before anyone on site notices. Firmware and security patches go out on our schedule, not whenever someone remembers.

respond

Something breaks, you call. Not a support queue — the person who installed your system. How fast we show up depends on your plan. The number you call doesn't change.

On your phone

Every camera, live, in your pocket

Every plan includes the app. Pull up any camera from a phone, a tablet, or a laptop — no special software, no VPN, no box to remember the password to.

  • Live view of every camera, not just the one on a lobby monitor
  • Running more than one building? Every site shows up in the same app, not a separate login each
  • AI detection tells a person or vehicle from a passing shadow — a push alert after hours, not fifty notifications about nothing
  • Separate logins for staff — no shared passwords passed around
  • Works on the phone you already have, iOS or Android

What the monthly protects you from

Hardware breaks on its own schedule, not yours — a lightning strike, a squirrel through a cable run, a PoE injector that just dies. On Premium and Professional, that risk is already priced into what you send us every month, so a repair doesn't turn into an expensive, unforeseen invoice.

Essential — pay as it happens Repair labor is billable and hardware replacement isn't included. You're covering incident costs directly when they come up.
Premium — labor's covered Repair labor is free. A part that fails outright is billed at cost, but the trip and the work to fix it aren't a separate line item.
Professional — nothing extra to approve Repair labor and hardware replacement are both included. A failed camera gets fixed without anyone signing off on a new invoice.

Estimated monthly management $240/mo

Installation is quoted separately, after a site walk — this is the monthly management cost only.

What will installation cost?

Three quick questions, then a real range — no email required to see it.

Step 1 of 3About how many cameras?

Installation is quoted separately, after a site walk. A typical 8-camera office runs $5,500–$9,000 installed, depending on cable runs and existing infrastructure.

What's included

What the monthly actually buys

Four things happen every month whether you ever call us or not. Tap one to see exactly what it means.

Monitoring

We know a camera is down before you do.

Every camera checks in on a fixed schedule. Miss enough check-ins in a row and it's flagged automatically — nobody has to spot a black square on a lobby monitor first, and it doesn't wait for a maintenance walkthrough to surface.

Checked in every 5 minutes, 24/7
Footage

Footage ready when you ask for it, no digging through menus.

Tell us the camera and roughly when, and we pull the clip and send it over — you never touch the NVR or learn its export format. Everything lives on hard drives on-site, not in the cloud, so there's a real window before older footage gets overwritten.

Stored on-site, up to 30 days
Patching

Your system stays patched and current, without you thinking about it.

Camera firmware gets security patches the same as any other device on your network — most never get applied because nobody's job is to do it. We push updates on our own schedule, during hours that don't interrupt recording.

Patch cadence monthly, off-hours
Support

One number to call — and it's the owner's.

Not a ticket that lands in a queue somewhere. The person who walked your site and ran your cable answers the phone. If we're on a roof when you call, you get a callback the same day.

Questions

Before you call

The things people usually ask on the site walk — answered here instead.

Am I locked into a contract?

No. Plans run month-to-month — cancel with 30 days' notice and we stop billing. Installation is a one-time cost, not a lease, so there's nothing to buy out if you leave.

Who owns the footage — us or you?

You do. It's your building and your cameras — we manage the system, but we don't hold your footage hostage or charge you to export it.

What happens if the internet goes down?

Cameras keep recording. Everything writes to the NVR on-site over your local network, not the cloud, so an outage doesn't stop recording — it just pauses our remote view of it until the connection's back.

How long is footage actually kept?

Up to 30 days, on hard drives on-site, then it's overwritten automatically. If something happened, pull it before then — after that window it's gone for good. No cloud storage fees creeping into your bill later — the hard drives are part of the install, not a subscription add-on.

Do you actively watch our cameras, or just record?

We monitor the health of the system — whether every camera's online and recording — not a live guard watching your feeds, and we don't access any footage without your permission.

If nobody's watching live, how do alerts actually work?

The cameras themselves run AI detection — they tell a person or a vehicle from a tree branch or a passing shadow, so you're not getting paged over nothing. When something real trips it after hours, that's what triggers the push alert to your phone, not a human staring at a wall of monitors.

Can you work with the cameras we already have?

Sometimes. If your existing hardware is recent and reliable, we'll fold it into the plan instead of replacing it. If it's the reason you're calling us, it probably needs to go.

What actually happens during a maintenance visit?

Every lens gets cleaned and re-aimed if it's drifted. We check cable runs and PoE connections, confirm the NVR is actually holding its full recording window instead of silently falling short, test night vision, and push any firmware updates that came out since the last visit. It's the boring stuff — the kind of thing nobody thinks about until it's the reason footage wasn't there when it mattered.

Included 2×/year on Premium, 3×/year on Professional

Does regular maintenance affect my insurance or warranty?

It can. Some commercial insurance policies and hardware manufacturers ask for proof of regular maintenance before they'll honor a claim or a warranty on a failed system. We can't speak for your specific policy, but every maintenance visit gets logged on our end, so there's a paper trail if you ever need to show one.

What's the actual install timeline?

A typical 8-to-16 camera office is 1–2 days on-site once the site walk and quote are done. Bigger buildings or long cable runs take longer — we'll give you a real number after we've seen it.
